Elma VB8206SD Vibration Meter

The Elma VB-8206S is a new smart 3-in-1 multi-instrument that can measure acceleration, velocity, and displacement. This provides an advantage when measuring vibrations during co-driving at different measured speeds.

The VB-8206SD is the perfect solution for technicians who work with the servicing of fans and pumps, or who need to perform vibration measurement and analysis on machinery and machine foundations, detect damage in bearing housings or shafts, and perform alignment and balancing of machinery and production equipment.

The Elma VB-8206SD can measure vibrations (ACCELERATION: 0.5-199.9 m/s², RMS, PEAK, Max. Hold. VELOCITY: 0.5-199.9 mm/s, RMS, PEAK, Max. Hold or DISPLACEMENT up to: 0.005-1.999 mm). Data is saved on an SD card as a CSV file.

The instrument has built-in space for an SD card (the card is an optional accessory). Data can be logged on the card and saved as a plain text file, which can be imported into Excel or other programs.

The instrument has a large, easy-to-read display with auto-off. The measured parameters can be specified in the following units:

ACCELERATION: m/s², ft/s² or g.

SPEED: mm/s, cm/s or in/s.

DISPLACEMENT: mm or inch.

The instrument comes in a practical carrying case, containing an external measuring probe with a magnet.
