Elma DT5500A – 2-in-1 multimeter and insulation tester

The Elma DT5500A is a multimeter combined with a high-resolution insulation tester. It features a large, easy-to-read backlit display with a smart analog bargraph.

AC/DC voltage, as well as resistance, continuity, and 200mA continuity testing.

The insulation tester has selectable test voltages of 125, 250, 500 and 1000V, as well as a lockable test function.

Automatically discharges capacitive voltage and automatically warns of dangerous voltage if an insulation test is attempted on energized installations.

The instrument features automatic range selection, data hold, and min/max measurement.

Category IV safety and insulation testing for troubleshooting makes the instrument particularly suitable for, for example, measuring and troubleshooting on electric vehicles.

Integrated rubber sheath, meets IEC CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V and comes complete in a case including test leads, batteries and instructions.
